California Pizza Kitchen at Huntington Beach

Costco is selling California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) gift cards at a 20% discount, two 50 gift cards (total value 100) for just 79.99. We decided to use them for a friend’s birthday and checked out their weekday Happy Hour from 3–6 PM at Huntington Beach location. CPK is a well-known chain with solid dishes, and their BBQ Chicken Pizza is a signature item that combines tangy BBQ sauce with a classic pizza base. During Happy Hour, we ordered: • Spicy Buffalo Chicken – 8 • Dynamite Shrimp – 8 • 7” BBQ Chicken Pizza – 9 • 7” Pepperoni Pizza – 9 We also tried a couple of regular menu items: • Kung Pao Spaghetti – 21.99 This dish was super interesting — it’s Kung Pao Chicken but made with spaghetti, giving it a texture similar to stir-fried noodles. Pricey but tasty and creative. I might even try recreating it at home! • Mini Butter Cakes – 14.75 • Cucumber Reviver – 3.99 • Fresh Strawberry Mango Cooler – 3.99 The total used up both gift cards, and they even let us pay the tip with them. Service was excellent, the staff was attentive, and they offered freshly grated cheese after serving the dishes. The restaurant was also clean and had that polished feel you’d expect from a big chain. This Bella Terra Mall location has outdoor seating and a bar area, making it a relaxed spot whether you’re dining alone or with friends. As a sweet surprise, they offered the birthday guest a complimentary ice cream sundae (worth 4). It’s a great place for casual hangouts or celebrations. The Chicken Piccata was excellent. I love the lemon caper sauce! The Wedge is always a great appetizer.

My wife, our toddler, and I recently had a fantastic dining experience at this California Pizza Kitchen, and I felt compelled to share just how great it was. First off, the food was excellent—as always. We’ve come to expect delicious, fresh dishes from CPK, and this visit didn’t disappoint. But what really made this outing stand out was the exceptional service we received from the entire team. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, especially with a toddler in tow. They checked in on us regularly—not in a rushed or mechanical way, but with genuine care and attention.

Wow! We ordered Thai pizza and Kung pao spaghetti to our surprise we enjoyed it. The food came out in time and it has amazing flavor. The fusion dish did go well. The atmosphere or the ambiance was quiet and relaxed. The server for our table was kind, polite, and friendly.

Very fast service. Pizzas came out very quickly. I don’t know how they make them so fast, but they are always super fresh when they arrive. The dining room is clean and well appointed. The staff were super friendly.

Make sure you download the CPK app and use it for each visit and collect reward points! We got to use our 10 reward and brought down the check and enjoyed our food with saving.

Only one word can describe my experience at this cpk, and that is: FLAWLESS. From the clean place and environment to the servers and food. 4/25/2021. 16:00 hrs,. Back again, and as many times before service was awesome, this has become my favorite spot for me and my family also I want to give a HUGE shout out to my favorite server, which hands down is the best most professional and friendly server I have ever encounter (and believe me I eat out ALL the time) her name is Alena ask for her for the best time with your family.

Great food. Takes a little bit to understand their menu. But we ordered and were very happy.
